The AQUABOT team is happy to announce that the AQUABOT project conducted a Workshop/Information Event on 30/07/2015, Thursday. The event included an overview of the project, presentations of its objectives, aims, developed methodologies and main results of the project. The event flyer may be found here.
The event was held in the Pefkios Georgiades Amphitheater, at A. Themistocleous Bldg., Cyprus University of Technology, on 30th of July 2015, from 18:30 to 20:30 and was open to the public.

The project and its preliminary results were presented at the second Women in Robotics Workshop during the 2015 Robotics: Science and Systems Conference (RSS) on 16 July, 2015, in Rome, Italy, by Dr. Svetlana Potyagaylo.
Potyagaylo presented the last results of the project including an online sensor fusion algorithm for state estimation and localization of a tethered underwater vehicle, control architecture of the AQUABOT robotic system, and navigation and coverage algorithms for aquaculture inspection and monitoring tasks.
